The Slow Travel hanky celebrates creatures who go slow, and creatures who I see when I go slow. One of the many lessons the world keeps gifting me is to pay attention to and be in relation with who and what is near, and to learn from those who move slowly and intentionally. I've met all these plants and creatures in my close-to-home wanderings, mostly as I go on slow rambly walks with my elder dog, Nettle, or hang out in our backyard.

Featured creatures (and plants): Eastern box turtle, Leopard slug, land snail, Jewelweed, Wood Nettle, ant carrying a dandelion seed, Blackberry, Garter snake, Imperial moth, Monarch caterpillar, Bold jumping spider, Milkweed, New England Aster, Wood sorrel, Cicada husk.

The hankies are approximately 22”x22,” and are printed on 100% cotton bandanas made it the US in two color ways: dark green ink on turquoise hanky, or turquoise ink on dark green hanky.

Each hanky is made by hand, and so each one is unique and may have small variances from the prints pictured.
